Chelsea's record acquisition Fernando Torres is in no doubt that Chelsea's attacking force will gel together as the season progresses. I certainly hope so, given how blunt it appeared at times against Liverpool on Sunday.

Torres has explained to Chelsea TV that the team were taken by surprise as Liverpool adopted a three at the back defensive shape, and that he feels a draw would have been a fairer result.

He has also expressed his willingness to play in slightly different positions for the team, something both Nicolas Anelka and Dider Drogba may have to do as well as Carlo Ancelotti seeks to put together the tools for a highly effective strike force.
