Chelsea FC vs Liverpool Carling Cup quarterfinal open thread

Andre Villas-Boas continues his policy of letting the youth prove themselves in the Carling Cup despite an improvement in the quality of competition and the proximity of a Wembley final if we win two more matches.  The lineups were announced as the following:

Chelsea FC - Ross Turnbull, Jose Bosingwa, Alex, David Luiz, Ryan Bertrand, Oriol Romeu, Josh McEachran, Frank Lampard, Florent Malouda, Romelu Lukaku, Fernando Torres

Subs- Hilarious, Paulo Ferriera, Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires, Juan Mata, Salomon Kalou, Nicolas Anelka

Liverpool FC -  Reina; Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Enrique; Lucas, Spearing; Henderson, Bellamy, Rodriguez; Carroll

Subs -  Flanagan, Skrtel, Doni, Agger, Adam, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez

The referee for the match will be Phil Dowd

Looking forward to seeing Josh, Bertrand, and Lukaku in the lineup today.  While the official site lists our formation as a 4-3-3, it will be interesting to see the shape we actually take while playing Lukaku and Torres together up top.  Hopefully the win over the weekend was just a preview of what the club has in store for us today...it would be awful nice to see Torres explode against his former club today.  Have at it...
