Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge is almost certain to join Bolton Wanderers on loan today according to The Mail, unless he is included in the Fernando Torres deal which would take him to Liverpool.
Sturridge is in desperate need of some first team action which he would most certainly get at Bolton. Liverpool have so far expressed very limited interest in the pacey English striker, but it is still not impossible (though unlikely) that he could be the striker that Liverpool are forced to accept in a part exchange bid for Fernando Torres.
In all likelihood though, Sturridge will be running out for the Trotters until the end of the season. Hopefully Owen Coyle will give him some valuable minutes of game time so the lad can have a realistic chance of getting more of a game for Chelsea when he returns to the club at the end of the season.
