Thomas Richard Di Benedetto, who is bidding for Italian side Roma, has apparently set his sights on making Carlo Ancelotti the new manager should he take the club over according to The Mirror's Paul Smith.
The move is said to be based on two main motivations: Ancelotti's history with Roma which includes winning a Serie A league title, and capitalising on rumours that Ancelotti may be unsettled at Chelsea.
The audacious move also involves targeting England manager Fabio Capello's assistant Franco Baldini who would act as assistant manager to Ancelotti.
While Benedetto's bid has yet to be successful, he has already stressed that should he take Roma over moves would be made for both management figures immediately.
