Video: Ramires 'Welcome to Chelsea'

"I feel like any player who joins such a big club like Chelsea,' said Ramires. 'Now I hope I can give my best and do well like I have done at previous clubs. I have to work hard. When you sign a contract with Chelsea, it never has a clause saying you will be a starting-line-up player. So I just need to try, work hard and hopefully I'll get into the team. I understand the challenge ahead, the nature of the Premier League and Champions League. If I wasn't prepared I would not sign for such a big club. I know the challenges that lie ahead and I just hope to be part of the team for these challenges."
-Ramires

The new boy is in line to make his debut for the CFC tomorrow at the Bridge against Stoke City. And, after reading his interview on chelseafc.com, I cannot wait to see what this kid can offer us. He sounds just so polished, so mature. Not to amp him up too much, but I'm expecting great things.

On to Saturday afternoon. Until then, peep this visual of some of Ramires' work over the past couple of seasons.
