Young Guns: Chelsea are FA Youth Cup Champions

Wow. Double wow.

Chelsea have just captured the FA Youth Cup for the first time in 49 years (1961) thanks to a marvelous comeback against Aston Villa in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. Marko Mitrovic and Conor Clifford, our captain, overturned a halftime deficit after Kofi Poyser had given Villa the lead with a first-half header against the run of play.

It is a well-deserved piece of silverware for the young ones, who by all accounts, dominated this year's competition.

Clifford's tally came seven minutes from extra time and is potentially a goal of the season candidate according to reports. Chelsea thrice hit the woodwork in the opening 45, also having an effort cleared off the line.
