Revealed: home shirt 2010-11

A Bolton recap is coming soon, but this, this is important.

The moment of the season has come. Our new home kit has been revealed. YES.

chelsea kit

As you can see, we've gone a bit red. The collar is a salute to the club's most loyal supporters, the Chelsea Pensioners. As put by the Standard: "The pensioners still take their seats in the main stand at Stamford Bridge wearing their famous red coats. Chelsea were actually nicknamed The Pensioners between 1905 and 1952 and this is not the first time red has been included on a Chelsea kit."

Many of you already know that red was a part of the club for a while, but not since 1994 (if I'm correct?). Remember all those killer red away kits from 85-91?

The Pensioners.

Anyway. Thoughts on the new look? Good? Bad? Indifferent? I actually like the simplistic look.

You'll be able to buy the 2010-11 Chelsea home kit in The Offside Store soon.
