The Associated Press, citing three anonymous sources, is claiming that Chelsea really is pushing to find a sponsor for Stamford Bridge. And the company leading the search, Creative Artists Agency. Wow, but I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
CAA, you may remember, is where good ol' Peter Kenyon trotted off to after resigning as the Blues' chief executive. It is a prominent sports and entertaining agency located in Los Angeles, which represents some of the biggest names in the world including LeBron James and George Clooney.
From the story: "Chelsea hopes the sponsor will pay 10 million pounds (C$15.4 million) annually, but no imminent announcement is expected."
Hmmmmmm. PK back in the mix? Thoughts?
