Quick Injury Update

Guess who's back?
Guess who's back?

According to the official site, Chelsea will have their full corps of centre backs available for tomorrow's match against Blackburn, with Alex healthy again after a thigh muscle tear. Unfortunately, the centre of midfield is still sadly depleted - neither Ramires nor Frank Lampard are fit for action. Ramires will probably play in next week's game against Spartak Moscow, while Lampard 'should' start against Liverpool next weekend. Take that one with a grain of salt. Presumably this means a third consecutive start for Yuri Zhirkov alongside John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien.

Anyway, given that our central midfield depth is currently Josh McEachran, what do you think happens in case of an injury to one of the three starting midfielders? Does McEachran play or do we juggle things around to put Malouda back in the midfield and field Gael Kakuta as the left-sided forward?
