Rant Box: One down...

One fellow London club to go.

Chelsea opened the holiday fixture backup with an efficient, if not spectacular, 2-0 win over West Brom at Stamford Bridge. The Blues close out this merry time of year with an away match with Fulham. An easy task this is not.

The Cottagers are riding a run of eight games unbeaten (yes, seriously), and have only allowed five goals since October. That's crazy, but no doubt impressive.

Fulham's home performances has been solid so far this season. Chelsea's away form has been even better. Something, thus, must give.

I expect a tight affair at Craven Cottage. Chelsea will certainly benefit from the possible absences of midfielder Jimmy Bullard and defender Brede Hangeland from the Fulham lineup. The Blues will continue with the same XI that dismissed Albion I would assume.

No Deco = success, I'd say.

As always, keep me posted on your musings before, during and after the match right here.
