Nephew v Uncle - Chelsea v Portsmouth

chelsea-flag.jpgIt's family time at The Bridge this afternoon as Chelsea take on Portsmouth in the Premiership - kick off 3pm (UK time). Harry Redknapp brings his team up from the South Coast to pit his wits against his nephew Frank Lampard and the Blue Boys.

Portsmouth will bring a load of fans which will add colour and noise to the proceedings but will the Portsmouth fans have a good day out? Well in the last four seasons in the Premiership, Portsmouth fans have travelled up and witnessed their team score only one goal and concede 10.

Results were:

Chelsea 2-1 Portsmouth
Chelsea 2-0 Portsmouth
Chelsea 3-0 Portsmouth
Chelsea 3-0 Portsmouth

I hope today that Chelsea fans continue to make the same amount of noise and create a winning atmosphere as happened in the win against Birmingham two weeks ago. For a game 'that didn't feature a 'big' team as the opposition,' the noise and atmosphere was brilliant!!! Let it continue again today.

As for team news, nothing is being reported by there is a rumour that new signing Belleti will start today and in his pre-match press conference yesterday, Jose hinted that there is one player who might still leave before the transfer window closes.

If Belleti plays, could that mean the end of Glenn Johnson's Chelsea career?
