Season 2007/08- COME ON and Keep The Blue Flag Flying High!!

chelsea-flag.jpg

In two weeks time Chelsea kick off their Premiership season at Stamford Bridge against newly promoted Birmingham City.

But it isn't all about supporting the first team, supporting Chelsea and any other club is ALL about supporting the club.

As well as the first team, there are the Reserves, the Academy and Chelsea Ladies (who have become affiliated to Chelsea FC in the last couple of years).

My plan for the 2007/08 season is to bring you as much as I can about Chelsea Football Club, everything there is to tell you about Chelsea I will tell you - News, comment, debate, results, fixtures, scores, pictures etc etc etc.

Time permitting and other commitments notwithstanding I plan to watch the Reserves in live action, same with the Academy, the Ladies and not forgetting the first team of course LOL!

The Reserves kick off their season in the Barclays Premier Reserve League away at Portsmouth on 29th August. All home games will be played at Brentford FC.

The Academy start in the Premier Academy Under 18 League on August 18th against Arsenal away, but this is subject to the Academy's and Arsenal's progress in the Malaysia Champions Youth Cup which starts on Wednesday 8th August with a match against PSV Eindhoven which kicks off 8.40pm local time. All home games will be played at the training ground, Cobham

Other fixtures in the Malaysia Champions Youth Cup are:

Friday 10th August - Malaysia U19s K.O 8.40pm local time

Sunday 12th August - Bayern Munich K.O. 8.40pm local time

Chelsea Ladies start their season in the FA Women's Premier League on Sunday 19th August with a home game against Everton Ladies which kicks off at 2pm. All home games will be played at Hampton and Richmond FC.
