Rangers v Chelsea - PREVIEW

rangers_football_club.jpg
As I had so much fun blogging Feyenoord v Chelsea the other day I am going to LIVE blog Chelsea's game at Ibrox this afternoon from 2.30pm UK time.

I hadn't written anything about the Feyenoord game before because honestly there wasn't too much to write about. The game was a drab affair, lit up in patches. Chelsea went a goal down right on half-time and within seconds of Scott Sinclair coming on as a second-half substitute, he went on one of his trademark runs (not bad for a 17 year old) and the ball found Super Frank who steered the ball in the net.

A few minutes later Carlo saved a weak Roy Makaay penalty and then saved the rebound too.

Pre-season friendlies are what they are. Players have their pride in trying to remain unbeaten in these games (to which Chelsea are at the moment. Played four, won 3 drawn 1). Coaches try out different players, different formations and hope and pray that nobody gets seriously injured.

(Remember what happened to Joe Cole in the All-Stars game last season).

It just amazes me how many people view these games differently. I never take any notice of these games. Of course I want Chelsea to win EVERY game they play - don't we all, but it amazes me how many 'so-called' fans get wound up within their passion but lose their focus and intergrity whilst making ridiculous statements like 'get rid of Jose.' How ridiculous!!!! LOL

Just chill out. Save your passion for when Chelsea's season kicks off in earnest on Sunday 12th August at home to Birmingham City.

Finally John Terry - Captain Marvel, Mr Chelsea signed a new five year deal worth £131,000 per week yesterday. All we want now is for Super Frank to do the same. Come on Frank - SORT IT!!

Rumours abound that Real Madrid are interested in Michael Ballack. Let him go I say!!

More rumours that Daniel Alves could be on his way to the Bridge and Lassana Diarra could be on his way to Arsenal.

Back to today's game against Rangers. I would like to see Shaun Wright-Phillips be given another 90 minute run out because frankly he HAS been Chelsea's best player this pre-season and he was the Man of the Match by a New York mile against Feyenoord the other night.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to come back at 2.30pm this afternoon (UK time)

KTBFFH!!
