Team News (below)

FINAL SCORE: CHELSEA RESERVES 0-0 ARSENAL RESERVES

Injury time + 4mins: Close call for Chelsea as Arsenal nearly nick it.

90mins: Two chances to win the game for Chelsea. A close cross from Ferreira sees Sahar miskick than the ball worked its way to Ferreira who then laid it into the path of Stoch who screwed his shot wide of the far post. Could be three minutes of injury time!

85mins: Bridcutt and Tejera receive treatment for injuries. A vastly improved Chelsea performance in the second half and if Chelsea did score it would not be undeserved.

80mins: Poom is living on his nerves. Drops another Chelsea corner. Match attendance 3,119.

77mins: Three more bookings - Hoyte Arsenal, Sahar and Hutchinson Chelsea after an almighty scramble in the Arsenal area when Poom dropped the ball from a Chelsea corner. Poom then saves well from a Sahar header after a whipped in Stoch cross.

75mins: 2nd Yellow card of the night is for Liam Bridcutt for handball. After a poor goal-kick the ball bounces up and hits Bridcutt on the arm - so it seemed? Poom mistimed's a clearance and just before Sahar taps the ball into the empty net, Poom gets rescued by his own defenders.

70mins: Right back Cummings after a long run deep into Arsenal's half gets blocked and the first booking of the game goes to Rene Steer. Both teams are desperately battling the terrible conditions.

65mins: Last few minutes have seen some feisty tackles. Merida has a shot which is easily saved by Ma-Kalambay - Arsenal's first effort of the half. More pressure from Chelsea resulting in free-kicks being given away by Arsenal. Arsenal make their last substitution. Randall off, Lansbury on.

60mins: Whereas Chelsea struggled to find width in the first-half, both wingers Stoch and Fernandes are seeing alot more of the ball. Arsenal substitutions: Van Den Berg and Simpson off. Efrem and Fonte on.

55mins: Fine footwork from the tricky Stoch sees Poom pull off a fine save low down. Ferreira seems to be getting more joy down the Arsenal left than Fernandes did. Chelsea enjoying lots more possession at the start of the second half.

51 mins: After a fine build-up Chelsea have a goal disallowed. Still 0-0.

50 mins: The driving rain has started again. The second half started the same as the first. Arsenal with lots of possession.

Chelsea substitution: Fabio Ferreira on for Fernandes
SECOND-HALF: CHELSEA 0-0 ARSENAL
Arsenal now playing with the wind behind their backs.

Half-time 0-0. Brave goalkeeping by Yves to keep the Blues level at half-time.

Injury time +2 mins: Chelsea break up another Arsenal attack and a through ball to Sahar hit the defender rather than the defender clearing, right at the edge of the Arsenal area.

45mins: Chelsea substitution. Jonas Elmer on for Ryan Bertrand. Lee Sawyer receives treatment. Since the injury to Bertrand, Arsenal have put the pressure on. Chelsea will be glad to see half-time!!

40 mins: The last 10 minutes has seen Chelsea get more possession and they are trying to work Stoch down the left, but unfortunately the wind behind Chelsea is not helping matters. Good defensive work from Stoch as he dispossesses Van Den Berg in a dangerous area. Bertrand receives treatment. Thankfully the rain has stopped. Chelsea down to ten as Bertrand receives off the field treatment.

35 mins: After a Chelsea clearance, Stoch lays a long pass to Sahar on Chelsea's left who picks it up and cuts inside and shoots a right foot shot from 20 yards that had Poom scrambling down to his right hand side. Arsenal reply with a 25 yard shot from Van Den Berg (Arsenal) which had Yves scrambling down to his left. At last the game is opening up. Shaun Cummings a corner on Chelsea's right. Corner comes to nothing as Sahar is penalised for a foul.

30 mins: Gibbs (Arsenal) hits the Chelsea post from a shot on the left of Chelsea's area. Very strong winds and torrential rain is making this a difficult match to play although Arsenal seemed to be adapting better to the conditions. Sawyer tries to feed in Stoch with a wide diagonal pass but the ball races into touch. Poom's first real action of the evening diving at Fernandes' feet.

25 mins: A quickly taken free kick from Chelsea comes to nothing. Like the first team Chelsea are struggling to find width despite playing with two wingers - Stoch and Fernandes.

20 mins: Still most of the match played in midfield. Neither defences troubled too much. Jay Simpson loops a close effort over Chelsea's bar. Good work by Yves spreading his 6ft 5in frame as wide as he could. Chelsea clear a Van Den Berg effort off the line after good Arsenal approach play.

15 mins: First shot in anger came from Arsenal. Ball deflected away for a corner by Chelsea's Hutchinson with a flying header.

10 mins: In front of a very good crowd the last five minutes has been all about possession in midfield without either defence being troubled.

5 mins: Extremely windy conditions. Each team has had a free-kick. Chelsea caught offside have had a corner and the first shot by Fernandes which went well wide. Ma-Kalambay touches ball for the first time.
