Reserves v Tottenham LIVE Blog RESULT!!!

FULL-TIME CHELSEA 0-0 TOTTENHAM (Third 0-0 in a row LOL LOL LOL!!!)
At last, right at the death of the game, Charlie Lee (Tottenham) gets a yellow card.

90mins: Still 0-0 and into injury-time

89mins: Still 0-0

88mins: Still 0-0

87mins: Still 0-0. Yves saves brilliantly from Barcham

86mins: On a rare Chelsea attack, Alnwick scrambles across his goal from a Younghusband shot. Then straight away Tottenham have a goal disallowed.

85mins: Another great save from Yves from close range from Tottenham's Barnard. If Tottenham nick this I wouldn't complain. They have been the better side. Another Tottenham chance, but well saved by Yves. I will happily let Tottenham have this game if Chelsea get the result at WHL tonight, but we all know that ain't gonna happen!!! LOL LOL!!
COME ON CHELSEA. Lets win both!! After all those hailstones we have got bright sunshine and good football.

80mins: Speaking of Magnay. He was in the Academy side that drew against Watford on Saturday and since he won Icon he has played eight times for the Academy and has scored once. Remembe this kid is only 17 and is now a professional footballer from nowhere. Chelsea sub: Sawyer off for Nielsen on (making his first appearance for the reserves).

75mins: Still 0-0. Chelsea have struggled without the likes of Woods and Sahar but having said that any further experience that the younger players can gain, is all good. Carl Magnay for example. Three months ago or so, he was a park player now through Football Icon he is playing his first game for the reserves.

70mins: Still 0-0. Hutton off for Tottenham with a Jermaine Defoe lookalike Cian Hughton on. Tottenham look the likeliest team to win this. Yves has saved well in the last couple of minutes.

65mins: Still 0-0. Sam Hutchinson saves Chelsea going 1-0 down with a JT type block from a Tottenham cross shot, which would have left Yves with no chance. Sam is JT in the making. Spurs subs: Hutton off for Lee Barnard. The hailstones have gone and the sun is back out again.

60mins: Still 0-0. Fabio finds his way into the Spurs box and sends a cross into the middle of the six yard box and Livermore turns the cross over his bar. Tottenham reply with a chance that was well gathered by Yves. The weather does not look to kind to these youngsters. Hallfredsson who had a bright start in the first half, shoots just wide. Mckenna has another go and the hailstones that fell ten mins ago or so are still laying on the pitch. So any score, if any, is going to come from a mistake.

55mins: Still 0-0. The players were off for only a couple of minutes. Play has resumed and Chelsea have a free-kick in a dangerous position, which Younghusband just hits his shot past the post. Credit to the ref. These hailstones were big!!!! Not as big as they can be in the U.S

50mins: Still 0-0. Younghusband who is a heartthrob in his native Singapore shoots just wide. And Football Icon winner Magnay defends well to concede a Tottenham corner which came to nothing. Better start. Now we have massive dark clouds and serious size hailstones and the ref has taken the players off!!!

Second Half Kicked Off

HALF-TIME: 0-0

42mins: First real attempt on goal from Chelsea's Tejera. Went over the bar. Still 0-0.

40mins: Still 0-0. Coach Rodgers is shouting so much encouragement to no avail. Yet again, Charlie Lee gives another free-kick away. How many more ref? Till you show a card. First free-kick for Spurs in a dangerous area. Good save from Yves but the flag went up for offside.

35mins: Still 0-0. Another Chelsea free-kick sees Spurs defend well. Great take at the edge of his area by Ma-Kalambay. A lot of today's Chelsea side played for the Academy on Saturday in a draw with Watford 1-1, so to ask a group of 16/17 year olds to play to their best in the space of 48 hours is asking a bit much, but this is Tottenham LOL!!

30mins: Still 0-0. Tottenham are the more deserving side if they take the lead, (at the moment). Imagine a pinball machine at the arcade. Thats what Chelsea defence was playing trying to block Spurs attempts. Barcham, Hallfredsson both had shots blocked by flying blue shirts.

25mins: Still 0-0. Just goes to show what strange weather we (UK) are getting. Two weeks ago you couldn't control the ball for the amount of rain on the pitch. Today both players are struggling because the pitch is dry and causing the ball to bobble all the time.

20 mins: Still 0-0. Its still very scrappy although Tottenham are the more industrious of the two teams and they are using their wide men, like Chelsea should be using theirs. When Chelsea do get into Spurs half, Spurs are giving away dangerous free-kicks. Hutchinson heads the free-kick straight at Alnwick.

15mins: Still 0-0. Charlie Lee (Tottenham) is a battler. Already conceded two fouls in the midfield. Without Sahar (with Israel) and Sinclair (on laon at Plymouth), Chelsea really need to get Stoch and Ferreira, the wide men, more into the game.

10 mins: Still 0-0. Magnay has had a good start. After all he has Hutchinson (JT in the making next to him). Like the 1st team just over a week ago. Tottenham have made the better start. The last two games blogged against West Ham and Arsenal both ended in 0-0 draws. So I hope to bring you one goal at least today.

5mins: 0-0. Seems strange watching a reserve game with hardly any crowd. The locals are Aldershot are very supportive, but it is an early kickoff. If you are wondering who Carl Magnay is, he won a year's contract through a TV show called Football Icon. He is the 2nd winner of the show, the first Sam Hurrell who is still at the club and doing well. Tom Bird who is one of today's subs, was 2nd in this competition and got a three month contract.

Chelsea Reserves 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur
