Firstly thank you to Bob and Bootsnall for this opportunity.
Welcome to Offside's Chelsea 'unofficial' Blog site. With me around everything posted here will be 'official.'
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I have been a Chelsea Supporter since 1966 and I have been through more downs than ups, with the exception of 1970, 1971 and even a losing Cup Final in 1972. Then we have 1997, 2000, etc etc etc.
Two Premiership titles in succession is enough for me at my age to go to my grave with.
But I am talking about Chelsea here and with Chelsea Football Club, anything can happen and no doubt everything will.
I am not going to bring up the events of what happened to Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini on Saturday at Reading that is in the past and I have made my views known elsewhere.
But what I would like to start off with saying this evening, is that the Reserves played Arsenal Reserves at Barnet's Underhill Stadium and beat them 2-1 with goals from Ben Sahar and Scott Sinclair.
The win puts the Reserves top of their League, along with the Academy who won their ninth game on the trot, beating Fulham 3-1 on Saturday and the Academy have 27 points from 27.
Tuesday begins the BIG build-up to the Champions League game against Barcelona on Wednesday night!!
