Not sure which is more surprising, that Chelsea, despite playing really well, have been unable to score on Stoke City so far, or that Charlie Adam has gone and injured one of our players. Worryingly, that player is none other than Diego Costa, who's our only center forward capable of putting in good performances nowadays.
Initially, it seemed like Costa got hurt while challenging Jack Butland for a cross, but later replays showed that instead it was a well-timed hip-check from ice hockey enforcer in disguise Charlie Adam.
Looks like Costa has to come off - Remy warming up

Costa received treatment on the sideline and popped a couple painkillers, but it wasn't working. He was replaced by Loic Remy in the 33rd minute.
Obviously there is no diagnosis or prognosis at the moment for Diego. Hopefully it's nothing too major and it's just a heavy bruise. We'll need him on Saturday against Liverpool.
