It is fairly surprising to see many fan-favorites such as Filipe and Shaw receive such a low amount of votes. Taking the strengths, weaknesses, age, performance and market values into account, the best non-in-house options would be:-
1. Ricardo Rodriguez
Alberto Moreno
3. Filipe Luis
Alberto and Ricardo share the first spot - due to their ages, the fact that the former is strong defensively and the latter attacking-wise. Now, let us look at their stats, taking Cesar's stats as a benchmark :-
Dave:-
Alberto:-
Ricardo Rodriguez:-
Filipe:-
After looking at the stats, it is safe to say that Ricardo Rodriguez is by far the most attacking full back in the lot. However, he is not defensively a slouch either, with his defensive stats being superior to Alberto and comparable to two of the world's best defensive full backs in Filipe and Dave*. RR is a statistical marvel, Alberto a young prodigy and Filipe the world's best. Out of these 3, I will go for Ricardo Rodriguez due to his age and all round excellence.
I have not included LBs like Marcelo, Alaba and Alba since it would be impossible for us to get them.
From the 3, who is your preferred option? Leave a comment and let us know! :)
*Dave is a naturally attacking right back, however, due to his weaker foot, he played as a more conservative LB last season.
