As the Golden Generation of Slovak hockey slowly peters out, these are the goals that will be remembered.
Facing elimination, game 5, double overtime, following an absolutely horrendous showing in game 4, Handzuš jumps on the ice to take the face-off instead of the shaken-up Andrew Shaw. He doesn't win the draw, but the Hawks stay strong, battle, and force the turnover in the neutral zone. Brandon "the Manchild" Saad makes the pass. Zus stays calm - he is 37 after all and has seen everything - a simple move to the backhand and an easy finish above Quick's left shoulder. Horn. Lights. Chelsea Dagger.
If you ever though about giving NHL hockey a go as a spectator sport, game 5 between the Blackhawks and the Kings is where you should start. What a game. What a win. I admit I feared the worst after the Kings took the 4-3 lead. But now it's onto game 6. The comeback is on like Donkey Kong.
