Thoughts On Mourinho, The season and Why Bother ?

One of the many perks I've enjoyed being a Chelsea fan is majority of the Chelsea fans themselves. Ive come to know them as people who not only stand by their club no matter what but are able to constructively criticized their own club when something is not going right somewhere. They are people who have come to appreciate winning , a mentality first instilled unto us by Jose Mourinho himself . People who have learned to primarily enjoy football in its essence completely rid of fanaticism and hooliganism.

Unfortunately there have been some bad apples that condemn the tree. Some Chelsea fans have adapted the Rival fan repressive and projective tactics , that is they either choose to go after rivals that critisize us or persistently respond to those who post criticisms on social networking sides. Given the geometrically increasing hate mail we get, i understand why to some extent but please if you do this, I ask you , why bother ? . Given the series of events that happened this year, you should be completely secure with your team . Wind up merchants only prey on insecurity, they want you to feel your team is as inadequate as theirs which is not true. The stats are there for everyone to see, I mean everyone. It shouldn't matter what they say, the stats speak for themselves, not one game was lost to a rival fan this year , and considering the teams in the top four that took thumpings, we should be really proud. If you think we haven't improved way beyond expectations this year then I really don't know what Chelsea you've been supporting .

Lastly, relating to Mourinho, the whole issue seriously eludes me. Im repeatedly confused if this media guys and rival pundits are grown up men . This generation has metamorphosed into one obsessed with complexity , when simplicity presents itself people are bamboozled. In other words, there has to be a back story to everything , every public figure is hiding something . It doesn't matter if a plain old guy is going to get some coffee, the media will say will turn it into some spiraling conspiracy.

Anyone who listen closely to what Mourinho said will realise he has been nothing but truthful. Maybe earlier in his career it came with some arrogance but all the same it was still truth. Granted Mourinho uses these truths strategically but it is blown out of proportion. It's still unclear to me whether Mourinho likes to be hated but it works effectively for our players, our mentality and what we want to achieve.

Mourinho has changed teams too many times this past decade. I do not understand why people think that was advantageous to his career. To take a leap of faith from your comfort zone of success to rebuild success is not at all an easy thing. You will not always get the same materials you get from success when you go elsewhere to start to rebuild and be successful again It requires both vast amounts of adaptability and courage to do . This is one of the reasons why I wish he stayed all this years because if he could build giants in just 2 years, what could he have done at chelsea? .

He is back, he's not lost it, he's adapted and he's here to stay, what other manager would you have? Appart from ancelotti and Pep, I haven't seen managers who are so driven , move and shake things In the world of football. Sit back relax and enjoy football. Customarily I'd say KTBFFH , but I don't need to, memories of the blue bus driving down the streets of london remains engraved on our Rival's heart.
