As if today could get any better, Jose Mourinho has encouraging news on the health of our captain. Speaking in the wake of an incredible 2-0 victory at Anfield, the Chelsea boss has confirmed that John Terry is in the running to face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday:
Mourinho says John Terry has a chance of playing versus Atletico. He describes Tomas Kalas's display today as 'beautiful'. #CFC

That would obviously be incredibly helpful -- when we played at the Calderon we were far better with Terry on the pitch than after he came off hurt, and we'll need his aerial presence to stop Diego Costa nicking a particularly annoying away goal. Hopefully he can make the recovery.
And let's spare a thought for the second player mentioned in that tweet. Tomas Kalas made his full Premier League debut away at the highest scoring team in the league, and helped keep an incredibly impressive clean sheet. That's one hell of a way to get your first league start.
