Yesterday was a bad day for us and today is worse. If you read my last post - http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/3/2/5461880/premier-league-table-and-prediction you know that I consider Liverpool as the biggest threat. ManCity will have, theoretically, a 4 point advantage on us if they win all 3 of their games in hand. I am not sure that will happen with their harder than us away games and their congested fixture list. I think their win against Hull was not because they were good but Hull were really poor. City now have only the premiere league to focus on with their dream of quadruple dashed which makes them more of a threat. The title race is getting very exciting for neutrals, while I reach the end of my fingernails.
As much as I am disappointed by our result against Villa I am not panicking yet. Last time in the table there was room for an unexpected loss for all the 4 teams. Now that we have got that out of our way I expect one unexpected loss for all the 3 rivals still. This weekends results does not change the following table my much. I think the end of the season from now will look like this. If we get all three points against Arsenal it would be such a relief. There is no margin of error for us now if we are to win the league.
|cardiff(A)||3||Crystal Palace(A)||3||Crystal Palace(A)||3||Newcastle(A)||3|
|Unexpected loss||0||Unexpected loss||-3||Unexpected loss||-3||Unexpected loss||-3|
The title is still ours to lose. What do you think?
Come on you Blues.
