Hello to all Chelsea fans out there, this is my first post as a member of this glorious fan site. I am a fourteen year old Londoner who will support this club 'till I die. Anyway enough about me and let's look into a future, under AVB.

*Did you see that rhyme.

It is a well-known fact that AVB wasn't Chelsea FC's most successful manager and was, some people might argue, rightfully sacked. Whether or not you think AVB was right to be sacked is up for discussion but lets say he wasn't sacked, lets say Roman Ambramovich gave him a chance to finish his 'project'. What would Chelsea look like today?

Signings - We can pretty much assume that Oscar and Victor Moses would have still been brought in due to the lack of control Chelsea managers have in transfers. Eden Hazard is an interesting one because Chelsea being the champions of Europe was a big factor in him coming to the bridge otherwise he would have surely gone to United so if AVB had still been in charge, we possibly would have not won the Champions League. The transfer of Andre Schurrle was a transfer that could and should have been completed last summer, Villas-Boas would have in charge then if Abramovich hadn't intervened to bring in Robbie Di Matteo. Departures would have been interesting because you would think that managers have complete control in terms of who leaves the club (A certain miss-firing Spaniard being an exception). I firmly believe that Daniel Sturridge would still be a Chelsea player because he was a regular starter under Villas-Boss and I was saddened to see him go to Liverpool.

Tactics - Style of play would be similar due to the beautiful football our owner preaches. We would be seeing our team playing a high line and a high pressing game which he favoured despite the obvious draw-backs. Pause for the Gasps. We probably would see our team playing in a 4-3-3 formation, a formation us fans crave. With Sturridge upfront most likely. So we can assume that AVB would make this particular Chelsea squad play the football he wanted in his short reign at SW6, though you would argue that his style would suit this squad more than the squad he had at his disposal.

So... what have we learned? He would persist in his style of play, Strurridge would still be a Chelsea player, we wouldn't have won the Champions League and Eden Hazard would be at United. To be honest, I haven't a clue what to think.
