Malaysia XI vs. Chelsea, Asia Tour 2013: Preview, TV information, lineups, streaming, and more

The second leg of the Blues preseason tour kicks off Sunday, July 21. Here's how you can watch it, and some early squad news

Chelsea won the opening game of their preseason tour of Asia, defeating the Singha All-Star XI by a 1-0 score. Romelu Lukaku scored the lone goal of that game on a penalty, which was won by Brazilian debutante Wallace.

Their second game will kick off in just over 12 hours, and we'll all get our second look at the Blues squad for the 2013/14 season. Here's hoping the Malaysian opponents come out with a bit more attacking approach than their Thai counterparts did, as it would be nice to see some of our defenders doing something beyond recycling possession.

Date/Time: Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 14:45 BST (9:45 AM EST, 21:45 local time)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Television Info: US viewers can watch on GolTV, in France the game can be seen on BeIN Sport 2, those of you in Indonesia can find the game on Kompas TV, and everyone else out there can find the listings in your homeland here.

Online Streaming: ChelseaTV will carry the game live where television coverage is not available, and will have the game on replay in areas where it's being televised. US viewers are probably out of luck here, as GolTV is carried by basically no providers anymore, but their TV rights mean the game will be shown on delay in the US.

Chelsea Team News: The squad is basically unchanged from the group that played in Thailand, although we may see some different combinations on the pitch*. Josh McEachran was back in full training the past few days, although it's not clear whether or not Jose Mourinho will take a chance on his fitness by playing him in the match. Frank Lampard will almost certainly miss out, as he's not been training without limitation yet.

*Wayne Rooney is not yet a Blue, so he'll be unavailable for this one.

Malaysia XI Team News: Like the Singha All-Star XI, the Malaysian all-stars will almost certainly line p with eleven players we've never heard of taking the pitch against the Blues. Luckily for those of us that aren't all that familiar with the Malaysian game, the club's website has us covered.
