With the sacking of Mancini, there are officially two major forces in english football on the look out for a new manager. As City are a club striving for the best, one must assume they are looking to fill the vacant position with the very best available. Mourinho falls definitely into that category and so we might have to lock horns with the folks up north for the home coming queen in shape of Mourinho.
Like all women blessed with beauty, she the most pretty of them all, can pick as she pleases. So who is it going to be? The new guy in town all dressed in baby-blue or the past love, starting again to look formidable in royal blue?
Say, if Mourinho is the guy who values sentiment and relationships more than money and business the choice is as clear as it can be. Chelsea FC
But if things go down to money, well...
there is one (probably three or now even four ) club out there that can dwarf our spending power and City it is. So if money talks I believe Manchester City speak loudest and are favorites to land our precious.
But behold no fear, as with the most unexpected source we find protection from the onslaught out of the north. It is comical indeed as not long a go one forged a thing called FFP with the sole purpose to extinct all of our breed. Now the instrument of our destruction in many peoples eyes has become a weapon put in our hands by the god - thanks Michel - of football him self.
The financial constraint put upon all clubs through the restrictions of FFP might catapult us back into pole position. I don't want to get to stuck up with the whole analysis of why's and why not's Mourinho might or might not return - I leave that to you all - but we should definitely be prepared for a fight as you just never know what those guy up north are planning.
