Goalkeeper Conundrum

Hi Guys -

First Time Writer, Daily Observer from Australia!

Obviously as the season draws to an end, the transfer rumours and speculation will be buzzing like crazy; so i thought i'd throw my thoughts into the mix and hopefully get some thoughts and input from blue family.

Our Goalkeeper situation has never been ideal in my opinion, ive never ever felt comfortable with Hilario or Turnbull between the sticks and by the season end i'd assume both to be given their departure cards. So who next? Courtois reeks class, however your not going to push aside Cech just yet. So, seeing as though QPR have been relegated, a cheeky bid for Julio Cesar could be just what we need? - Not the world class stopper he once was, but knowing we could switch between the two would at least give Cech somewhat of a rest, and a perfect mentor for Blackman & Courtois the following season.

Therefore: Potential Season 2013-14

Manager: Mourinho/Conte/(not going to happen, but would welcome Ancelotti back with open arms!)

GK: Cech, *Cesar*, Blackman

RB: Azpi, Ivan, Kalas

CB: Terry, Luiz, Cahill, *Garay/Subotic/Dante*

LB: Cole, Bertrand

CM: Lampard :), Ramires, Mikel, *Fellani or Wanyama* Essien,

CAM: Mata, Oscar, Hazard, De Bryune, Moses

ST: Torres, Ba, Lukaku

I've tried to be as reasonable as possible, and go down the career mode in FIFA; i think this would be an ideal team - Given BOTH Torres and Lampard agree to a paycut for the benefit of the team. Falcao -Torres partnership could work wonders; or if David Villa and Torres decided to wind the clock back and bring it to Chelsea? why not - but overall; thats what i think a solid & affordable team can be next season - thoughts? -
