I really wanted to Chelsea to get Gotze and now my dream lineup of Hazard on the left and Gotze on the right is incredibly unlikely. Also, Bayern just keeps getting better and better. So how is the related to Chelsea? Well, IMO BvB have some players that I'm pretty sure will benefit from acquiring (i.e. Gundogan) but now with the sale of Gotze this might change BvB transfer strategy this summer. I've seen in some rumor mills that BvB is interested in certain players that have been linked with Chelsea (KdB). BvB summer transfer period just got very interesting and what they do during this summer could potentially open some doors for Chelsea to look into acquiring some nice players. On the other hand, Gotze leaving could just make things much harder for Chelsea to try sign a player like Gundogan (who won't demand nearly as much money as a player like Gotze). P.s. I still endorse the idea that Chelsea try and get Milan Badelj as I think he'll be much cheaper than Gundogan but just as effective. I personally think he could be the answer we need in the midfield as fulfills the deep-lying playmaker role extremely well for Hamburg.
