We're coming up on an incredibly poorly-timed international break, which means that a bunch of our players will be farmed out to national FAs, who will them run them into the ground and given them back all tired out. Hurray. At least most of the games mean something this time.
As always, it's the England setup that garners to most attention. Rio Ferdinand's been rewarded for kicking Fernando Torres with a recall to the senior side for the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro, but there are also three Chelsea men in Roy Hodgson's squad. There are no prizes for guessing that they are Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill and Frank Lampard.

The kids are getting a pair of games as well, although the England under-21 matches are only friendlies. On-loan midfielders Nathaniel Chalobah and Josh McEachran have both received call-ups, and on current form you'd have to imagine the former getting some serious playing time over the two matches.
