A mostly boring, slow paced half was punctuated by a quick-strike Ramires goal, set up by some good center forward play by Fernando Torres. That's right, I used the words "good" "center forward" and "Torres" in the same sentence. And without even having to include a "not" in there.
Other than that, it's not been Chelsea's best half (unless we're counting backheels from Oscar) and Wigan even looked the better team for the first 15 minutes or so. But the Blues lead and there's hope of a better second half performance.
UP THE BLUES!
