Goalkeeper Petr Cech has been out with injury lately, and Chelsea fans have had to deal with Ross Turnbull in goal while the Czech international was recovering. It's been a bit hard to watch, as Turnbull is nowhere near the world class keeper that we've gotten used to since Petr Cech took over at Chelsea.
It sounds like Saturday will be a nice treat for the fans then, as the club has announced today that Cech is recovered enough from his injury to be available for selection. If fit, this is an easy enough choice that even Rafa Benitez couldn't screw it up.
Juan Mata had picked up a minor knock in our last game as well, but the announcement says that it's not enough to force him to miss Saturday's contest entirely. We'll see whether or not he starts, but with Victor Moses and Eden Hazard both still unavailable, I'd certainly hope he can.
