Get to know John Guidetti!

Some of you might be familiar with the young striker, but for everybody else there is this Fan Post. He is 20 years old and belongs to Manchester City. He might become a real bargain, because of his situation in the Manchester club. His asking price is as low as £6 million, Guidetti would count as home-grown. I think that this is a no-brainer.

John Guidetti was only 15 years old when Sven Göran Eriksson brought him to Manchester City. Guidetti could have gone to Sampdoria after some days training with both their youth teams and first team, but he choose City. It's not hard to imagine his situation, a big Sampdoria with the likes of Cassano or the small little team with the Swedish manager.

City wasn't the club back then that they are today, they didn't have players like Silva, Aguero and Tevez. Sven Göran Eriksson talked to Guidetti, and said that he wanted him to come to City, he was willing to give him a chance. Sven Göran Eriksson let him meet with Micah Richards before a game against Chelsea, Guidetti was astonished. He couldn't resist to sign when he saw the players he would play against, and play with.

But the situation isn't the same, the club has changed, City don't need to play young talents anymore, they can buy whoever they want The manager who wanted him isn't there anymore, the club bought Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor. But Guidetti fought on, tried his best in the reserve team. Scored goals, but Mancini had no intensions to let him start a game. City kept buying players; Dzeko, Aguero. There was no place for the youngster, he didn't extend his contract, he signed with Twente, but City claimed there was no deal and payed Twente £1 million for the rights of Guidetti.

Some weeks later Guidetti talked to Mancini, they agreed that a loan would be good. He signed a one year loan with Feyenoord, a team in crisis. For them he was the one who should save them, for him it was the first time he would play regular minutes. Guidetti isn't the shy guy, he picked number 10. In his first game he came in as a sub, Feyenoord got a penalty, the new guy Guidetti took it, scored. The team in crisis was new-born. Guidetti scored and scored. Three consecutive hat-tricks at the home stadium ain't bad, huh? He scored one of them against arche-rival Ajax and another against Twente. He ended the season with 23 apperances and 20 goals, 8 assists and he was one bad chicken away from playing Euro with Sweden. Now you know some of his background; lets take a look at how he would fit us!

John is somewhere between 1.80m and 1.85m tall(different sources), roughly 6ft (if you doesn't use the metric system). So he isn't the biggest guy, but he isn't short either. But John scores using his feet. He is ice cold infront of goal and got very good finishing. His movement is great a. He would of course be a CF and we are looking for a backup to Torres and Sturridge. Guidetti isn't any primadonna that don't think about any but himself, but he is not shy to take a shot. This guy got all the ingredients to become world-class.

Emenalo, bring him in!
