Landon Donavon as a backup RW/RM?

What do you guys think about having Landon Donavon as an additional Right Winger or Right Midfielder? He's still relatively (but not really) young (29 I believe) and is already proven in the premier league via his loans with Everton. If we sign him for 2 or 3 years, by the time his contract begins to run out Piazon and/or de Bruyne will be ready to shoulder more of the burden. By the time they are ready, Donavon will be able to be sold back to the MLS or will retire, I don't think he would turn down playing for the European Champions at the end of his career and given how much we were rumored to spend on Hulk and other players, I think this could be a rather frugal purchase. I guess this could be comparable to the Maicon transfer, where we purchased someone who could still add to the team but would not be here long term, just long enough for a youth prospect to come up (in Maicon's case it was Todd Kane).

Anyway, this is my first fanpost, sorry if I screwed anything up! Thanks, and let me know what you all think in the comments section!
