Czech Republic v. Poland, Greece v. Russia, Euro 2012: Group A Matchday 3 Thread

Eyes on the prize! Let's hope this isn't the last time we get to post a picture of Gebre Selassie.

And so we've reached the 3rd round of the group games with only 2 teams (Ireland, Sweden) having been eliminated. Most of the rest still have it all to play for, including all four teams tonight:

Russia (1st, 1-1-0, +3): Need just a draw v. Greece to ensure qualification. A win will see them finish top of the group. A loss is not a disaster, unless it's by a few goals.

Lineup, 4-3-3: Vyacheslav Malafeev - Yuri Zhirkov, Alexei Berezutsky, Sergei Ignashevich, Alexander Anyukov - Denis Glushakov, Igor Denisov, Roman Shirokov - Alan Dzagoev, Alexander Kerzhakov, Andrei Arshavin

Czech Republic (2nd, 1-0-1, -2): A win ensures qualification. A loss means they're out. A draw will leave them hanging on the other result. Rosicky's out injured, which is a huge blow.

Lineup, 4-2-3-1: Petr Cech - David Limbersky, Tomas Sivok, Michal Kadlec, Theodor Gebre Selassie - Jaroslav Plasil, Tomas Hubschman - Petr Jiracek, Daniel Kolar, Vaclav Pilar - Milan Baros

Poland (3rd, 0-2-0, 0): A win and they're in. Nothing else will do. Can they make their home field advantage count?

Lineup, 4-5-1: Przemyslaw Tyton - Sebastian Boenisch, Damien Perquis, Marcin Wasilewski, Lukasz Piszczek - Ludovic Obraniak, Rafal Murawski, Eugen Polanski, Dariusz Dudka, Jakub Blaszczykowski - Robert Lewandowski

Greece (4th, 0-1-1, -1): They have to win by at least 2 (3?) to sneak into the knockout round. They field three forwards and have to pretty much go for broke.

Lineup, 4-3-3: Michail Sifakis - Giorgios Tzavellas, Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Vasilis Torosidis - Kostas Katsouranis, Giannis Maniatis, Girgios Karagounis - Theofanis Gekas, Georgios Samaras, Dimitris Salpingidis
