Guus Hiddink reportedly set to retire at the end of this season

An interim manager that can honestly say he never heard booing from Chelsea fans - Clive Brunskill

Former Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink will reportedly be retiring at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Former Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink is currently in charge of Anzhi Makhachkala, but reports out of Russia today suggest that he will be retiring at the end of the 2012/13 season. According to James Appell:

It's a shame in one regard that Hiddink is set to retire, as he'd most certainly be a more popular choice to manage Chelsea than Rafa Benitez ever could be. Carlo Ancelotti got the fans excited when appointed, but I think most would have been just as happy to see Guus step down from the Russian national team to take over full time at Stamford Bridge instead.

I'm sure Roman Abramovich will still be in contact wit Hiddink after he retires, as the pair are reportedly close to this day. Maybe Guus can bring up the center forward that they are using that's currently far better than Fernando Torres, as Anzhi happen to have a goal scorer that I really like. Good luck with the rest of the season Guus, we all miss you more than ever right now.
