Six of our boys - yes, Bob was in the house - participated in EA Sports' official FIFA 12 Pro Player Tournament on Wednesday at Cobham. Cue the inevitable trash talk and the birth of Romelu "I love the silence" Lukaku.
That's right. Our young Belgian enforcer emerged from the wreckage triumphant, topping fellow 18-year-old Josh McEachran by a 4-1 scoreline in the final. It looks as if Josh remained true to the club, while Romelu opted to use Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich? Yeah, can't fault him there.
Still, that was a right battering in the decider. Step your game up, Josh.
While Romelu was indeed fantastic throughout the video - as testament to the "Is this the final?" parting shot at Josh - it was Daniel Sturridge who stole the show for me. Peep his reaction to losing to Nathanial Chalobah @ 1:11. The kid is shattered. Hilarious. Thankfully Bob was on hand to console all of those who were ousted from the tournament.
Anyway, enjoy the video. I found it highly entertaining.
By the way, is that Lucas Piazon roaming about in the background wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt?
