I'm pretty sure that all good news ever comes from Lucas Piazon's twitter account. I mean, this is the man who broke the news that David Luiz was joining the social media frenzy, which means we'll be forever in his debt. And now, more good news: Piazon has announced that his transfer from Sao Paolo to Chelsea is official, which means he can play in non-friendlies for the youth and reserve teams. Yay!
Granted, I'm not entirely sure how this has happened since we don't appear to be in the middle of a transfer window, but if I was somehow an expert on the legalities of football transfers I'd be an agent rather than a blogger. All I know is that Piazon says he's going to be able to play real games for us, effective immediately, and that's fantastic. Obviously, we all knew this was going to happen at some point in the near future, because he's been training with the club in London for months, but hey, the more time he has getting games in the better. Who else is looking forward to seeing what the kid can do?
Welcome to Stamford Bridge Samsung Megadeals Arena, Lucas.
