Apologies for the lateness of this post, and the lack of anything else on the blog over the past couple of days. I've yet to get over this weekend's debacle, to be fair.
Anyway, we must move on -- to a seemingly meaningless fixture to close out a solid display in the Champions League group stages. APOEL visit Stamford Bridge on the final day of the stage, with little to play for themselves.
Expecting a run-out.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti promised some youth in the side, yet only Gael Kakuta is in what is a surprisingly strong starting XI. Perhaps Carlo is still bitter, like myself, over this weekend's performance. Danny Philliskirk, Bruma and Borini are on the bench.
Either way, keep me posted on the display people.
