Sure, I enjoyed...wait, let me rephrase. Sure, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching Barnsley oust Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup's fifth round (that's better). But let's not get carried away here. When the Davids take the field at Oakwell, I expect the dream to die -- no, shatter.
Chelsea travel to the Championship side and, as The Telegraph put it, "the holders are in no mood for sentimentality."
The Blues are in a fine run of form at the moment, coming off a pair of decisive results over West Ham and Olympiacos. I expect the high level of performance to continue Saturday.
As for the side, I've no idea what to expect. Of course I'd like to see Sheva but I doubt we will. Could the Pizza Man make a delivery? Doubt it. And then there's no Ben Sahar or Scott Sinclair. Oh well, I guess we'll have to settle for the likes of Lampard, SWP and Anelka. Tisk Tisk.
History between these two sides favors the Blues. We've won the last three league encounters, including a 6-0 throttling in 1997. Barnsley last won the FA Cup in 1912. That's nine days after the Titanic bit one according to the fine people over at Goal.com.
