Quite A Day - Monday 19/02/07

Yep Monday was quite a day. Not only did I have to go to work, but Chelsea got drawn at home AGAIN in the FA Cup against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, or Spurs to everyone else, but prior to that Chelsea's finances for the last financial year announced losses of £80 million an improvement of the last financial year's losses of £140 million. Oh to be in a position to 'lose' all that money. Yeah right!!!

Don't get me wrong a home game in any cup competition with a knockout stage is a bonus especially as the FA Cup is the Cup that Jose has yet to win as manager of Chelsea and Chelsea will beat Tottenham and get to the semi's, no doubt about that.

As a preference I would have preferred Plymouth (cos Scott Sinclair, on loan from Chelsea, has permission to play if the clubs meet in this year's competition).

If you haven't seen Scott in action, who is Theo Walcott, then check out this goal he scored for Plymouth against Barnet in an earlier FA Cup round.

As for the finances and Mr A's position and Jose's position, in this week of important weeks, the press and media certainly time their stories right LOL LOL.

EXCLUSIVE Wonderful news for Chelsea fans for the 2007/08 season, is that ALL tickets for Premiership games have been frozen (except for those can afford to go, ie the corporate champagne drinking suit wearing brigade, who can afford to offset the loss Chelsea could suffer but they won't) and even better news Chelsea will be introducing price reductions for the early league status of the 2007/08 Champions League. The popular price reduction for the home FA Cup and Carling Cups matches will remain in place, subject to away club approval.
